15 things that will happen to you this Ramadan

Set to start on Sunday June 29, the following 14 things will definitely happen to you during this Ramadan:

1. Your sleeping pattern will be completely messed up

2. You will end up getting into office late, every day for the next 30 days; and nobody will blame you for it

3. At least one person in your office will turn anti-social due to nicotine deprivation

4. Tent hopping will be your social activity for the next 30 days; and we will surely know all about it from your pictures on Instagram!

5. You will smell like Shisha every night

6. You'll be playing either Tarneeb or Trix almost every evening. If you don't know how, you will learn! Brace yourselves as photos of game scores will also be posted

7. At least one person you know will be posting all those yummy food pictures on Facebook and Instagram during fasting hours coz they think its funny...by the way, it isn't!

8. You'll be amazed with how the ladies will figure out when every single Ramadan TV show will be airing on what channel, and somehow they will figure out a way of watching them all....and you'll be hearing about what happened during every single episode in the office!

9. You'll keep on checking the time every 5 minutes starting from 1pm, to know how much time is left for Iftar

10. You will not have to worry about preparing Iftar at home for at least 20 days as you will be invited to it at either someone's house, or outside

11. People will need to book you for Iftar at least a week in advance, so you can fit them in your schedule

12. Abayas will be the #OOTD (outfit of the day); especially those with colorful embroideries. Surprise! :|

13. People will volunteer (without asking) their 'secret' tactics of how they survive throughout the day. Oh yes, this will also include what they eat, and when! You're gonna need to put on your game face for this one, and praise this privileged information they are sharing

14. Road rage will be justified with fasting; and you'll have it too!

15. People will start thinking they are F1 drivers as it gets closer to Iftar time. Relax peeps, its ok to arrive a little late; food will still be there :)

Wishing you all a peaceful, blessed, and prosperous Ramadan.
Ramadan Kareem! :)
