Watch out Dubai, there's a new city being built near Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road and it will contain some of the most famous wonders of the world! FalconCity of Wonders is one of the Emirate's most recently announced mega projects, and is scheduled for completion by 2020!
Here is the list of the Wonders of the World replicas that will be featured in this upcoming city:
1. Dubai Eiffel Tower
According to the city's model featured at DIPMF2014, this iconic structure will stand out among the other structures and shall serve as hotel apartments.
2. The Tower of Pisa
This replica is intended on solely serving aesthetic purposes to the city of Rome that is located within Falconcity of Wonders.
3. Taj Arabia
Replica of the Taj Mahal but four times larger, this monument will also serve as a hotel.
4. Dubai Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Reviving an ancient wonder of the world, this replica will be home to residential and commercial units.
5. The Great Wall
This replica of The Great Wall of China will serve as a buffer between the city's proposed theme park and its neighboring residential area. According to the development's website, you will also be able to jog on top of this world wonder monument.
6. Dubai Pyramids
Replicating the Pyramids of Egypt, these three monuments will also serve as hotel apartments. The developer's website claims that the Dubai Grand Pyramid (the biggest out of the 3 pyramids to be built within Dubai Falconcity) will be the largest pyramid ever built.
