If you are into fashion and want to check out the latest regional trends, then Fashion Forward Season 2 is not to be missed!
Fashion Forward, taking place in Mina Al Salam Dubai, is a 4-day event that kicked off on October 15 and will remain open until October 18. It is split as following:
1. The Garden:
This is where you have the opportunity to get your hands on some locally produced fashion goodies. If you are into bold fashion, or you are looking for something that makes a statement, then I highly recommend that you check out NimNim Boutique (instagram: @nimnimboutique). Prices are extremely reasonable for items that are sought after by local and regional celebrities! Joelle Mardinian from MBC1 was spotted at the stand earlier today and was seen wearing NimNim accessories!
2. The Fashion Shows:
This is where you get to preview some of the region's top designers' upcoming collections. Though I am indeed a guy, I will be checking out both House of Fatam (October 17, 3.30pm) and Tahir Sultan presented by The Cartel (October 17, 6pm). With soo much creativity, it will certainly be quite the inspiring experience. If you are attending any of the shows, make sure you are there on time because apparently they don't let you in if you are late!
3. The Fashion Talks:
This includes a number of panel discussions and presentations on various fashion related topics. Being recently involved myself in a project that witnessed the launch of a luxury brand management academic program, I am definitely looking forward to these.
