Ramadan just finished and suddenly everything is back to normal and we are too confused on what to start with? Here are a few suggestions for you to consider:
1. You may prefer taking it a little easy before going back to your normal routine. If so, you may want to check out some of this summer's biggest movies that have been released just in time for the celebrations. Check out The Dark Knight Rises, The Expendables 2, and Step Up 4
For The Dark Knight Rises, I HIGHLY recommend watching it on an IMAX screen: for this, you may want to visit the new Meydan IMAX (the UAE's largest IMAX screen).
2. Grab lunch at Ewaan Restaurant at The Palace Hotel Old Town (Downtown): Excellent Arabic food and excellent customer service. Lunch buffet is priced at AED 250 per person that is inclusive of beverages as well. For reservations, call 04-8883444
3. Dance your night away at one of the Eid concerts in town. Recommended ones are:
- Myriam Faris and Hussein Al Jasmi @ Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai World Trade Center on August 20, 2012. Tickets priced at AED 150, 250 and 350
- Najwa Karam and Mansour Zayed @ Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center on August 20, 2012. Tickets priced at AED 450, 650 and 850
- Kathem Al Saher and Diana Haddad @ Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai World Trade Center on August 22, 2012. Tickets priced at AED 150, 250 and 350
4. Dive in to a water theme park before the weather starts cooling down. The most popular ones are Aquaventure @Atlantis Dubai and Wild Wadi @Jumeirah Beach Hotel
Eid Mubarak to you, your family and loved ones and don't forget to share your Eid plans as well :)
