Ahlan! Awards 2014 Recap: Best of in #myDubai

Last night, Ahlan! Magazine hosted the Ahlan! Awards 2014 at Barasti, and announced the winners of the 21 categories of the competition and Emirates Trends was there! As announced by the presenter, the results have been determined from the votes that have been casted by more than 10,000 readers who have made their choice on what are the most things, they love about Dubai.

In the venues/attractions categories:

• Best Tourist Attraction: Burj Khalifa
• Bets Hotel: Burj Al Arab
• Best Music Event: Jennifer Lopez, Dubai World Cup
• Best Bar: Barasti at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort
• Best Ladies Night: Pink Ladies Night at Mahiki Jumeirah Beach Hotel

In the personalities categories, the winners were:

• Best Radio DJ: Dave Cleary, Mornings with Dave Cleary on Radio 2
• Best Club DJ: DJ Shadow
• Best Local Music Act: Jet Lag

and here are the big ones:

• Best Female Personality: Louie Da Costa, Tag 91.1 Presenter
• Best Male Personality: Kris Fade, Virgin Radio Presenter
